The Pro-Ject MC Step Up Box S3 is a powerful way to increase the output voltage of low-output MC cartridges. It allows you to connect MCs to the MM input. You do not need a power connection for the Step Up Box S3!

Step-up transformers do not require an external power supply as they work completely passively and bring the low voltage of an MC cartridge to MM level almost noise-free. The signal remains clean and has less harmonic distortion compared to a conventional MC phono stage.

The MC Step Up Box S3 is our compact solution with dual-mono design principle, gold-plated RCA connections and two setting options for the impedance range of the pickup.

The MC Step Up boxes are manufactured in Europe and are available in silver or black aluminium housing.
