Goldring E3 Cartridge

Goldring E3 Cartridge - the E3 is the top model of the series. It has the same aluminium stylus carrier as the E2, but features a super-elliptically ground (0.3 x 0.7 mil) stylus. This is capable of reading far more high-frequency information than scanning stylus with conventional elliptical (0.4 x 0.7 mil) or spherical (0.6 mil) grinds. In addition, the special grinding reduces disturbing sibilants - an important advantage especially for high-quality vocal recordings.

Magnetic Duplex Technology
The dual magnet design senses the geometry of the cutting head used in record mastering. This gives more precise scanning of the record groove. Therefore, it creates a better stereo separation, thereby immersing you in a more accurate, full-sounding soundstage.

Precise fine tuning
The stylus carrier is fine-tuned during the production process by use of a specifically designed adjustment screw that allows micro-scale adjustments. With this, the stylus can be installed in any typical turntable easily because the angle between the stylus and the record surface is preset. As a result, an optimum channel uniformity without the requirement of horizontal tracking adjustments is achieved.
