Goldring E1 Cartridge

Goldring E1 Cartridge - the E1 cartridge which serves as the entry-level model in the series, uses a carbon fibre-reinforced stylus carrier with a bonded, round-ground (0.6 mil) stylus. Carbon as an alternative to high quality aluminium or boron materials, delivers similar results in most hi-fi applications.

Magnetic Duplex Technology
The dual magnet design senses the geometry of the cutting head used in record mastering. This gives more precise scanning of the record groove. Therefore, it creates a better stereo separation, thereby immersing you in a more accurate, full-sounding soundstage.

Precise fine tuning
The stylus carrier is fine-tuned during the production process by use of a specifically designed adjustment screw that allows micro-scale adjustments. With this, the stylus can be installed in any typical turntable easily because the angle between the stylus and the record surface is preset. As a result, an optimum channel uniformity without the requirement of horizontal tracking adjustments is achieved.

Scanning stylus & stylus carrier
The E1 model features round-ground styli and a variety of stylus carriers. In essence, they are ideal upgrades for any low-cost, pre-assembled or ageing cartridge.
