The offered cartridge alignment gauge, or overhang gauge, is suitable for adjusting a cartridge mounted on the Thorens TP 60 cartridge holder. This high-quality gauge, made of clear acrylic, is a precisely crafted replica of the original Thorens gauge, which has been in use for over 40 years. The model allows for the exact alignment of the cartridge and stylus and sets the correct overhang distance. This is a genuine injection-molded plastic part, not a low-quality 3D print.

This tool can be used to align the following turntables and tonearms, provided a Thorens TP 60 headshell is present:

  • TD-160 Mk I
  • TD-165
  • TD-166 Mk I
  • TD-125 Mk II
  • TD-126 Mk I
  • TD-145 Mk I
