The pitch faders offered here (without a click at zero) were designed primarily for the Mk3D and Mk5 models. The LEDs do not light up at zero; if the reset button is pressed, the LED lights up green.
These pitch faders can also be used on the Mk2/Mk3 models, in this case, the pitch LED does not light up.
The model is delivered pre-assembled on the circuit board and consists entirely of new parts. Since it is a plug-and-play solution, no soldering is required. This is the suitable version for the Mk2 devices without a "click" at the zero point (= SL-1200 & SL-1210). It can also be used in the Mk3D and Mk5 models.
The quartz lock can be deactivated by simply removing a jumper. See the photo for a more precise zero point, it is very popular in the DJ context.
